Thumb gesture/animation support!

You can't use the thumb to make gestures. Trying to do so on the knuckles does nothing; however for some reason, pulling the index finger's trigger triggers the index finger (good), but also the thumb (very bad and weird??)
Supporting thumbs for gestures would be a very nice kick for immersion, and allow for some great gestures such as:
-pointing
-thumbs up/down
-counting
and more
