Barrett M99 should only be 1 shot above the waist

Yes, I’m aware the puncturing of the femoral artery is one of the quickest ways to bleed out, but this is a video game. Clipping someone’s toes with the .50 Cal should not kill the victim, but should definitely do some considerable damage, probably the same as an L96 “AWP” body shot. I feel this would balance the gun considerably, and remove a lot of... hatred... from the community about the gun’s impossible strength.

just 100dmg from head or chest would be nice... arms hips or legs do 90% damage only. Barret is pretty op.

rather just have the price be like 5500, it's nice having a one shot gun in the roster, it sets the bar in terms of "op-ness", and if the barrett became not 1 shot even in certain places the awp would outclass it easily.

Though having a leg instantaneously amputated would take you out of the battle. That's what happens visually anyway.

Look up the cavitation effect from 50 cal rounds/weapons. That's why you're instantly dead. Maybe a foot shot wouldn't kill you, but it would at the very least rip off your leg.

But that’s the point of a high cailaber gun if you get shot in the leg your not just gonna tank the shot your leg will get blow off

a 50 cal can blow off a leg, causing you to be out, all I would do is make it so the gun cant be fired unless crouching or if they add bipods, being on a platform. I know that it could kill you if you get shot in the foot but 50 cal bullets tend to drag whatever it hit and what it is connected to

Barret M99 is an antimaterial sniper in real life, so it has sense to be dead at 1 shot because it'll blow any part of your body, at least as I think

Nerf basil. Bring back the 50!! No really tho. Shouldn't be one shot below waste. I agree. Maybe this will bring the 50 back into shack competitive as well..
